A bull moose that was captured in Upstate New York on Tuesday was euthanized Wednesday morning after its condition worsened overnight, the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation announced.
The roughly 600-pound animal had been spotted across Rensselaer County for several days before it was captured in Troy on Sept. 29.
